Plenty of people were injured following a terror explosion attack at Parsons Green underground station in west London. According to witnesses, they have seen people with burns and separately wounds caused as a result when people rushed to escape the station.
According to Transport for London, District Line has temporarily suspended due to the security alert at about 8:20 AM. In initial reports, it is also believed that explosion came as a result of shopping bag left by the tube carriage door. So in this context, a lot of pictures have been appeared on the social media to show wires coming out of plastic bucket inside the bag.
According to reporters, it is claimed that several people had sustained very serious burns and their hairs were also coming off. Counter-terrorism police of the country are also monitoring the incident but said it was still a ‘transport police investigation for now’. It is also said by the reporters that passengers with their burned faces fled the train as it filled with large smoke.
In addition to the terror attack, there were also a lot of injuries as a result of the crush of people fleeing. Emma Steveton said, there was a little poor boy smashed into the floor with his large bleeding face and also woman shouting that she is pregnant. London Fire Brigade also confirmed that there are 50 firefighters and six engines at the scene.
Assistant director operations at London Ambulance Service, Natasha Wills, Said that their first priority is to assess the nature and level of injuries. A Reuters witness saw a woman being carried off on a stretcher with her legs covered in a foil blanket. Meanwhile, a passenger named Lucas told BBC Radio he heard the explosion and saw people with “minor injuries”. They also further said that people were helping each other at the spot. Witnesses said that people were really badly burned that their hair was coming off.
